Technology Transferred By Kobe
Consistent with the movement toward high technology products, New Best in2000 started R&D in the Electro-Polishing and systems based on their firm experience, knowledge of steel, and surface treatments. In early 2002,New Best took part in the Technology Development Program(TDP) with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, R.O.C and became the pioneer in the Electro-Polishing field providing service to the Hi-Tech Electronic Industry in Taiwan.
As a result, the Kobe Special Tube Co., Ltd.(KST) visited New Best, Taiwan and became so impressed. In May,2003,both parties signed a Memorandum of agreement to establish a working relationship. In July, the Electro-Polishing Business of New Best was organized. It was at this time that New Best promoted "Mechanically Polished and Electro-Polished(MPEP)Pipe" to successfully conquer the defects of mechanical polishing.
In the following years, KST has achieved transferences in succession of the EP & ECB process exclusively to New Best in Taiwan. New Best, moreover is the sole importer of KOBE BA pipes. With its own brand, New Best has been qualified and applied by most of LCD makers. In 2007,New Best EP tube was approved and applied by HPT(Hitachi Plant Technologies, Ltd.). Henceforward, New Best is to substitute KST and become the only foreign EP tube supplier of HPT.
May 2011 Established Su Zhou New Best Business Trade Co., Ltd. In China for extra clean pipes and fittings market.
Apr 2014 Approved EP process of Display large part by Applied Materials, Inc. (AMAT).
Aug 2018 Expanded electro-polishing and baking capacity for larger chamber and got the approval of OLED process by both AMAT and ULVAC.
May 2019 Chuzhou NewBest Extra Clean Materials Tech Co., Ltd. was established and will manufacture extra clean pipe in 2020.
